An Osier man has died after a house fire Monday morning in Tri-Township. The man has been identified as 76-year-old Jack Patten.
The Delta County Sheriff’s Department says the fire happened Monday morning when the Tri-Township Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on Osier 40th Road at around 4:15 a.m. When the fire department arrived at the scene, they found a mobile home engulfed by flames during the night, and the mobile home was still burning.
The sheriff’s department is calling the death accidental, and the investigation to the cause of the fire is ongoing.
Delta County Sheriff’s Deputies, Detective Sergeant and State Police Fire Marshall were investigating at the scene.
