Ore To Shore Returning
Bicyclists from across the country are gearing up for one of the biggest events of the summer in Marquette County.
The Ore to Shore Mountain Bike Epic returns this weekend for its 12th year.
Race coordinator Tom Bleau says this is not only one of the most popular bike races in the area; it’s also one of the biggest — there were more than 2300 riders in the various events last year and this year’s edition is expected to have well over 2000 again.
The Ore to Shore has 3 timed events, as well as a few non-timed races for smaller children.
The races are this Saturday and have various start times and locations.
