Open House at Beacon House
In honor of National Hospitality House Week, Beacon House in Marquette put on an open house to let people see what the nonprofit agency provides for people in need.
Beacon House operations director Kellie Barry-Angeli says the house is a place for patients and their families to stay during hospital trips when they may not have anywhere else to go.
Today’s open house gave community members a chance to tour Beacon House and even enjoy some free pizza.
Over the next several weeks, Beacon House will have a series of fundraising events like Roar the Shore, Spokes of Hope and the Walt Kyle Mile.
