Ontonagon County residents facing assault, domestic violence charges
ONTONAGON — Two Ontonagon County residents are in jail and facing a number of charges after their arrest Thursday.
A 46-year-old Ontonagon man is charged with OWI third offense, domestic assault, driving with a suspending license, and open intox. His passenger, a 46-year-old Rockland woman, was arrested for domestic violence and allowing an intoxicated person to drive.
The man is in jail on an $1,800 bond, and the woman is in jail on a $500 bond. They are expected to be arraigned Friday in Ontonagon County District Court.
The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office could not provide details about the circumstances of their arrests
