Ontonagon Co. marijuana charges
Two Ontonagon County residents facing marijuana charges were in court today.
43-year-old Dustin Garrick from Bruce Crossing waived his right to a preliminary exam in Ontonagon County District Court and was bound over to Circuit Court.
He and 37-year-old Toni Sanchez are charged with malicious destruction of property of more than $1,000 but less than $20,000.
Police say the pair destroyed trees, shrubs, crops, grass, and turf in an effort to grow marijuana.
They are both also charged with delivery and manufacture of marijuana.
