Offense clicking for NMU football team

The spring football season is now over for Northern Michigan University, after conducting its fifteen allowed practices over a three week span. Saturday’s game was head coach Chris Ostrowsky’s second spring game since taking charge of the program.

The offense and the defense showed improvements in almost every area of the field. Junior quarterback Cody Scepaniak is the teams #1 quarterback going to the fall.

Along with an established quarterback, the offense has an experience offensive line to go along with play-makers at the running back and wide receiver positions. The Wildcats feel excited about their ability to move the ball and putting up points on the scoreboard as they look forward to the slate of games coming up this fall.

NMU did not have running back Casey Cotta available for the spring season because he has one semester of eligibility left, which he will use this fall.
