No Word on Charges Against Insurance Agency
There’s no word from the Dickinson County Prosecutor’s Office about criminal charges against an Iron Mountain insurance agency.
State regulators have suspended the licenses of Erickson and Associates Insurance, as well as insurance agent Edward Erickson.
A state investigation found that from last December through March of this year, the agency was pocketing the money from customers’ premiums instead of paying for their policies.
State officials also found that Bruce Erickson continued to do business for the agency after his license was revoked last year.
The case has been turned over to law enforcement.
