MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — No one was hurt in a three-vehicle crash in Marquette Township Thursday night.
Marquette County Sheriff’s Deputies say the accident happened around 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of US-41 and County Road HQ. Twenty-two-year old Amelia Sackmann of Marquette attempted to make a left turn onto County Road HQ and ended up in the path of the car driven by 33-year-old Nicole Koski of Negaunee.
The crash forced the two cars into another vehicle driven by 27-year-old Ryan Boury of Port Huron. All three vehicles sustained heavy front end damage. Sackmann was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Marquette Township Fire Department.
