NMU’s Yoder added to NCAA Committee

MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University head volleyball coach Dominic Yoder has been appointed to serve on the NCAA Volleyball Rules Committee. Yoder will fill a vacancy left on the committee through September 1, 2015 and will be eligible for a reappointment to a four-year term at that point.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to have an impact on our sport from a rules standpoint,” commented Yoder.

Yoder is in his eighth season as the head coach at NMU and has 14 years of collegiate coaching experience. Along with his coaching expertise, Yoder spent three years as a volleyball official for the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Michigan Intercollegiate Athletics Association and the Michigan Community College Athletic Association.

Yoder was also an official for USA Volleyball and the Michigan High School Athletics Association while also conducted classes in Official Certification at Western Michigan.
