NMU’s Kyle & Berube Carter back to work

MARQUETTE – ABC 10 has learned this afternoon that Northern Michigan University has allowed head hockey coach Walt Kyle and associate director of compliance and senior woman administrator Bridget Berube Carter to return to work.

Both Kyle and Berube Carter were placed on administrative leave a week ago today. Derek Hall, the NMU assistant vice president of identity, brand, and marketing, said that neither Kyle nor Berube Carter violated any university bylaws or policies.

Kyle will be back behind the bench this week when NMU takes on Alaska-Anchorage at the Berry Events Center Friday & Saturday.
