NMU’s Florek reassigned to Providence

The Boston Bruins have sent forward Justin Florek back to the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League, the team announced on Monday. Matt Frazier was recalled from Providence and will replace Florek on the Bruins postseason roster.

Florek appeared in six playoff games for the Bruins. He scored his first career postseason goal against the Red Wings back on April 20th.

Florek scored 19 goals and 19 assists in 69 games this season for Providence, who begin the second round of the AHL playoffs next week.
