NMU VBall releases spring schedule

MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University volleyball team will play four tournaments in its 2013 spring schedule. The Wildcats travel to Eastern Michigan University on March 23, Oakland University on March 30 and the University of Minnesota Duluth on April 6, before wrapping up the spring schedule at home on April 13.
The home tournament will consist of a Wildcat alumni team, Michigan Tech, Lake Superior State and the current NMU volleyball team. The matches run from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Vandament Arena and all fans are invited.
A volleyball reunion is being held in conjunction with the tournament for all former Wildcat volleyball players. Alumni and current players will spend the day together and celebrate the induction of former volleyball player Lucia (Pereira) Shyiak into the NMU Sports Hall of Fame later in the evening.

April 13: MTU/LSSU/NMU Alumni (Vandament Arena): 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Student-Athlete Awards and Hall of Fame Induction (University Center): 7 p.m.
Volleyball Alumni After Party Social (Hudson’s Classic Grill): 10 p.m.
