NMU men’s hoops fall to Hillsdale
The Northern Michigan University men’s basketball team fell at Hillsdale to the Chargers on Monday night, 88-64. The loss drops the Wildcats’ record to 1-7 this season, including a 0-4 record in GLIAC play.
Junior guard Ethan Blackwell led the Wildcats in scoring with 21. Junior forward Justin Newell scored 13 points for NMU. The Chargers outscored the Wildcats 49-32 in the second half.
Northern Michigan returns to action on Jan. 2, 2014, when the Wildcats will take on Tiffin at the Berry Events Center.
