NMU football team captains selected
Northern Michigan University head football coach Chris Ostrowsky named his four captains for the 2013 season.
Seniors Christian Jessie, Brandon Parson, Cody Scepaniak, and Morgan Stenz were voted as captains by their teammates.
Jessie led the GLIAC in return yardage in 2012. He was a first team All-GLIAC selection last season. Scepaniak and Stenz were GLIAC honorable mention selections in 2012.
Parson has five interceptions in two seasons as a defensive back. NMU opens up the regular season at home on Saturday, Sept. 14 vs. Findlay.
