NMU Culinary Cafe
If you’re sick of the same old food for lunch, Northern Michigan University can offer you a change of pace featuring foods from some of the newest chefs in the area.
Students of the hospitality management program have opened the NMU Culinary Cafe inside the Jacobetti Center.
Hospitality management professor Deb Pearce says the cafe is a student run operation which gives them a chance to test their skills in a real-life environment.
The cafe is open Monday through Thursday from 10:30 to 12:30.
Students will keep the cafe open until the end of this month and will re–open it during the winter semester.
