NMU Announces Schedule for A.D. Candidate Visits

MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University has announced the schedule of on-campus interviews of three finalists for its athletic director position. Each candidate will meet with select individuals and groups during the visit and also make a public presentation about the future of NMU athletics, recreational sports and the United States Olympic Education Center to the campus community.

Feedback forms will be available onsite and online. Below is a schedule of campus presentations. All will be held in the University Center’s Pioneer room A and B on the following dates:

-Forrest Karr, director of athletics at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 10;
-David Diles, director of athletics and chair, Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics, and professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 17;
-Sean Johnson, senior associate athletic director of external affairs at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D., 4:15 p.m. Thursday, April 19.
