Negaunee teen struck by vehicle on bike
A 16-year-old Negaunee resident is in Marquette General Hospital after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle on County Road 492 last night at 9:12 p.m.
The cyclist was traveling westbound down County Road 492 between M-35 and Forge road when it was struck from behind by a vehicle heading in the same direction that was driven by a 20-year-old Negaunee resident. The 16-year-old was quickly transported to Marquette General Hospital for treatment by Bell EMS.
The crash is still under investigation.
Michigan State Troopers were assisted on the scene by the Negaunee Police Department and the Negaunee Township Fire Department.
