Negaunee Fire Still Under Investigation
A fire that destroyed a home in Negaunee Tuesday is still under investigation tonight.
Negaunee City firefighters were called out to a house fire at 118 East County Road late Tuesday afternoon.
The fire started in the rear of the house near the home’s main entrance.
Strong winds fanned the flames and pushed the fire inside the home.
Helen LaForest was inside the two–story home with her dog was and both were able to escape.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
