WATERSMEET — The names of two suspects arrested after a drug bust in the western U.P. have been released.

Members of the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotic Team say 52-year-old Shirley Kashich and 56-year-old Steven Comes are charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, and maintaining a drug house.

The two were arrested Tuesday at a location on Blair Street in Watersmeet Township after an investigation that began in the early spring of 2014. While executing the search warrant that led to the arrest, officers secured controlled substances, U.S. currency, and multiple firearms.

Kashich and Comes were arraigned in Gogebic County District Court. They are currently in jail on a 10% of $100,000 bond.
