Name Released in Fatal Truck Fire
The investigation continues tonight into the death of a Kingsford man who died in a vehicle fire.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department says 34-year-old Adam Steele of Kingsford died when the pickup truck he was in caught fire over the weekend.
A fire investigator from the Michigan State Police says the fire was accidental, starting in either the truck’s engine compartment or the undercarriage.
Steele’s body was found in the burnt pickup truck early Saturday morning.
The truck was found in a field behind a residence on County Road 607 in Breitung Township.
