Name released in Chippewa Co. fatal accident.
Authorities in Chippewa County have released the name of the woman who died as a result of a single motor vehicle crash Tuesday evening.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Sault Ste. Marie Post say she is 44–year–old Cindy Sawyer–Bonenfant of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
The traffic crash occurred on M–28 near Dick Road in Chippewa Township of Chippewa County. Sawyer-Bonefant was pronounced dead at the scene, the crash remains under investigation.
