Mylle joins the NMU Track & Field team

MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University head track and field coach Jenny Ryan announced the addition of Ine Mylle for the 2014-15 track and field season.  Mylle is a native of Zonnebeke, Belgium coming from the Flanders Atletiek Club.

In Belgium, Mylle ranked second in the triple jump, 10th in the heptathlon and 11th in the  100-meter hurdles as she went on to win Sportswoman of the Year in Zonnebeke.  She was also the athlete of the year for her club the past four seasons holding club records for triple jump and the 100-meter hurdles in the youth category.

“Our staff is excited to have Ine join the program,” commented Ryan.  “We know she will make an excellent addition to our track and field team.  Her years of success across a variety of events will add much depth to our roster.  Ine’s experience, maturity and passion are exactly what this team needs as we work toward becoming a top tier program in the GLIAC.  Assistant coach Alex Carradine did a great job recruiting such a high-level athlete to our program.  We are very excited to have Ine be a part of our team and compete for us in the coming years.”
