MTU’s Stelzer adds awards to his impressive season
HOUGHTON — Michigan Tech men’s sharpshooter Ben Stelzer continues to be recognized for his fantastic season for the Huskies.
He was named to the 2015 National Association of Basketball Coaches Division 2 All–America team. The senior guard becomes the fourth player in school history to earn All–America honors from multiple organizations in the same season. Stelzer was also selected to participate in the Reese’s Division 2 all–star game but declined because of injury.
Earlier this week, he was named to the Daktronics All–America Second Team. Stelzer is among the nation’s best in scoring and three point percentage.
