MTU’s Armga earns GLIAC award
Michigan Tech men’s basketball senior guard Austin Armga has been named the GLIAC North Division Player of the Week.
The native of Waupun, Wis., scored 28 points in the Huskies 81-55 win over Malone on Thursday, Dec. 5. Two days later on Dec. 7., Armga scored 32 points on 12-of-19 shooting against Walsh.
Armga leads the GLIAC in scoring, averaging 30 points per game. The Huskies are 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the GLIAC and play their first conference road games of the season at Findlay on Thursday, Dec. 12 and at Hillsdale on Saturday, Dec. 14.
