MTU Track & Field All-Academic Honors

The men’s and women’s track and field teams at Michigan Tech are taking home several national All–Academic honors.

The U.S. Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association has chosen two Huskies as individual athletes, and it’s also honoring both teams as a whole.

Senior Molly Wiltzius earned one of the individual selections.

The Kingsford native set a women’s school record in the discus this past season with a toss of 146’11”.

She also graduated with a 3.48 GPA in pharmaceutical chemistry.

Junior Dylan Anderson earned an All–Academic honor on the men’s side.

He finished ninth in the 800-meter run at this year’s NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships.

Anderson has a 3.36 GPA in civil engineering.

Both Michigan Tech teams also earned All–Academic team honors.

The women posted a team GPA of 3.42 and the men had a 3.26 GPA.
