MTU Junior Mind Trekkers
Michigan Tech students specialize in science that will blow your mind, and they’re sharing that experience with middle school students.
Eighth graders from Hancock Middle School got a feel for science through a number of hands on activities at an event presented by Michigan Tech’s Mind Trekkers.
It’s all part of Gear Up, the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduates Program. Mind Trekkers meet with students every month to show how much fun science can be. Events like these help the Gear Up program students to start thinking ahead to college.
