MTU football team moves up in AFCA Poll

WACO, Texas — Michigan Tech football moved up one spot in this week’s American Football Coaches Association Division II National Top 25 Poll. The
Huskies, who were idle last weekend, are now No. 22 in the poll.

Michigan Tech is one of 24 undefeated teams left in Division II and one of three GLIAC squads with an unblemished record (4-0). Ohio Dominican and
Ferris State are the other two. They’re both 5-0 and ranked No. 8 and No. 13, respectively.

Tech, which entered the poll at No. 23 last week after a 34-31 victory at Northern Michigan Sept. 27, will play its fourth road game of the season
this Saturday (Oct. 11). The Huskies travel to Midland, Mich., to play the 3-2 Northwood Timberwolves. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
