It’s back to school for college students this week as well.  ABC Ten’s Keweenaw Bureau Reporter Rick Allen has the story.

Not only are the K-12 schools going back to school this week…but classes have begun at the Copper Country’s two universities.

Finlandia students couldn’t wait to hit the books again…their classes began last week.

One of the hallmarks of the university is the diversity of the student body.

The Finnish rooted institution will be looking to install some SISU into this year’s incoming class.

Across town…Michigan Tech students are gearing up for another incredible year whether they are freshman or part of the class of 2013.

Members of the newest class are already on the path of success.

In case these college students are keeping track…it’s only nine more months until the next summer vacation.
