MTU extends contract with Mroz

The Michigan Tech University Board Of Control has decided to keep the school’s president around a while longer. The board has voted unanimously to give Doctor Glenn Mroz a two–year extension on his contract. It means he’ll remain in office through June of 2016.

The extension came after Mroz received a positive annual evaluation of his job performance. Board members say Michigan Tech is thriving with Doctor Mroz at the helm, as shown in areas like enrollment growth, financial stability and increased research activity.

Mroz has been President of Michigan Tech since 2004.
