Mqt. Post Office collects 10,000 pounds of food
Letter carriers around the country are thanking everyone who donated to North America’s largest one-day food drive.
The 21st annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive took place on Saturday.
The National Association of Letter Carriers holds the event.
Officials at the Marquette Post Office say they collected about 10,000 pounds of non-perishable food items.
Residents left the items out at their mailboxes, and letter carriers picked up the items while delivering mail.
