Mqt. Police Search for 3 Young People

The Marquette Police are asking for help to find three young people in connection with a breaking and entering.

It happened last Thursday night on Presque Isle Avenue.

Police got a call that several young people broke into a vehicle and stole two gift cards from it.

Shortly after 9 that night, three young people were at the Holiday gas station across US–41 from the Marquette Mall.

Officer Doug Heslip says the three are believed to have tried to buy items from the store with the stolen cards.

It took a few days for the investigation to lead police to the store.

And yesterday they obtained the image you see here, and others, from the store’s security camera.

The person at the bottom center whose back is to the camera is not believed to be involved.

Police are looking for any information they can find about the three subjects, especially their names.

The three young people are believed to be anywhere from 17 to 19 years old.

Police say they may be driving a silver, newer-model sport utility vehicle, possibly a Jeep.

If you have any information on who the young people are, or where they are, police are asking you to call their Detective Bureau at 228–0400.
