Mqt. Co. baby shower scheduled for Apr. 19
The 18th Annual Marquette County Community Baby Shower will take place on Friday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at the Negaunee Township Hall.
The shower brings families from all over Marquette County and helps them get much needed supplies for newborns. There is also a chance for families to learn about local services to assist them with pregnancy and a new baby.
The committee is seeking donations, of either cash or new baby items.
Drop-off boxes for new baby items are at the following sites: Marquette-Messiah Lutheran Church, AMCAB Main Office, YMCA and MARESA; Ishpeming- Ishpeming Carnegie Library, Bell Memorial Hospital (front desk); Gwinn- Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center.
Bell Medical and Bell Hospital, Marquette General Health System Women’s and Children Center, Marquette County Health Department, AMCAB, RSVP, YMCA and the Care Clinic are all sponsors of the baby shower.
