Motorcycle-deer accident in Dickinson Co.
A Wisconsin man was injured when his motorcycle collided with a deer in Dickinson County Friday evening.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post were dispatched to the incident at 9:10 pm on US 2 west of the Foster City Road in Waucedah Township.
Gary Davis, 65, of Niagara, was traveling west when a deer ran onto the roadway and into the path of his motorcycle. After striking the deer, police say the motorcycle dropped to the ground and Davis was ejected.
Davis sustained injury to his leg and was transported to the Dickinson
County Hospital by North Alert Ambulance.
