More Arrests in Gwinn Meth Lab Case

Two additional suspects have been taken into custody in connection with an explosion at a meth lab in Marquette County.

The December 1st incident left 43-year-old Bryan Howe of Marquette with burns to 60% of his body.

He remains in critical condition at the University of Michigan Burn Center in Ann Arbor in a medically induced coma.

Forsyth Township Police say Howe was injured when a meth lab at this house on Elm Street in Gwinn exploded.

Three Gwinn residents have been arrested in connection with the incident.

37-year-old Richard Hill and 33-year-old Bridget Black are both charged with operating and maintaining a lab with methamphetamine.

38-year-old Aaron Armatti was arrested on the same charge last week.

The felony charge carries a 20-year prison term.

Additional charges are pending.

The incident is still under investigation.
