Mont Ripley Staff Help One of Their Own

A Dollar Bay family is finding out just how caring their friends and co-workers are.

Mont Ripley Ski Hill operations boss Kevin McClellan and his family lost their home in a fire overnight Monday morning.

McClellan’s co-workers at Mont Ripley quickly chipped in $1,500 to help him and his family get back on track.

By the time the Dollar Bay Fire Department could get there, the house was fully engulfed in flames and nothing was salvageable.

No one was inside the home at the time, and no one got hurt.

Mont Ripley and the Michigan Tech Employees Federal Credit Union are collecting donations for the family.
