One industry welcoming the wintry weather is tourism.
The Copper Country hasn’t had a lot of snow yet this year, but you wouldn’t know it from the slopes of Mont Ripley in Hancock.
General Manager Nick Sirdenis says when it comes to snow, if they make it, they will come, ‘they’ being skiers.
And there’s little need for any extra help from above.
Today’s snow came just in time for school to be back in session — Ski School, where people of all ages came to work on their skills.
