Monday’s high school sports recap
ISHPEMING, Mich. – The winter sports season is now in full effect. The boys basketball season started Monday night, joining girls basketball, hockey, swimming and diving, gymnastics, and cheerleading. In high school hockey, Escanaba’s Levi Wunder scored five goals and three assists in the Eskymos 9-1 victory over Negaunee.
In boys basketball, Lucas Klein had 20 points in Lake Linden-Hubbell’s 64-24 win vs. Baraga. Houghton’s Nate Gockenbach scored 25 points for the Gremlins. Below, you will find highlights and scores from all of Monday night’s action.
