Michigan swimmer attempts to become Superhuman

Known for swimming all five great lakes, Jim “The Shark” Dreyer is making another splash on a national level.

His recent claim to fame was a result of having successfully towed a half ton of bricks, while swimming alone for 22 miles – from Lake St. Clair to Detroit – last August for Habitat for Humanity. He will now try and amaze audiences by appearing on Stan Lee’s show, Superhumans, and attempt to set his 18th world record. If he successfully completes the quest he will then be declared a “Superhuman.”

The only clue producers will give us regarding the aquatic feat is that it is believed to be impossible and definitely unimaginable.

The segment “The Human Tugboat” will air this Wednesday, August 6th at 10 P.M. on the History Channel.
