Gas prices in most of Michigan are below $4 a gallon.
AAA Michigan says the current statewide average for a gallon of regular self-serve fuel is just over $3.95.
That’s down 4 cents from yesterday and down 22 cents since last Friday.
But it’s still well over a dollar above what it cost at this time last year.
The lowest prices in the state are in Flint at $3.87.
As usual, the area AAA surveys that had the highest prices was Marquette at $4.45.
But that was in the overnight hours of this morning.
By the afternoon, many service stations in Marquette County were selling regular at around $4.10.
AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 gas stations around the state every day.
