MGH Recieves $250,000 From Cliffs Natural Resources for Cancer Treatment

Marquette General Hospital is a quarter of a million dollars closer to it’s four million dollar goal towards improving cancer care and treatment.

Cliffs Natural Resources announced today that it will be donating $250,000 to mgh’s “Accelerating the Future” capital campaign”

The funds will help pay for the hospitals latest purchase, a new linear accelerator.

It is the most advanced equipment of it’s kind and will treat almost all forms of cancer including breast and prostate.

The state of the art cancer treatment technology will be put to use by the end of the year.

The “Accelerating the Future” capital campaign has raised more than 3 point one million dollars towards the goal of four million.
