MGH Lifts Swine Flu Visit Limitations

After leaving it in place for about 2 weeks, a local hospital lifts its restrictions on visitors for its patients.

The concern about new swine flu cases showing up is beginning to fade somewhat.

So, Marquette General is once again allowing anyone to visit patients who’d like to.

But the hospital is still asking anyone who’s ill or coughing to not come.

Marquette General’s counterpart in Iron Mountain put similar restrictions in place at about the same time that MGH did.

Dickinson County Memorial is still keeping anyone with signs of an upper respiratory illness away from the facility.
