MARQUETTE — An Ishpeming woman involved in a meth bust earlier this year received her sentence today in Marquette County Circuit Court.

Starlene Bartol, 47, received seven months in jail with credit for 103 days served.

Bartol and her co–defendant, Thomas Richard Field were arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team in March after police found meth making components in their vehicle.

In June, Bartol pleaded guilty to one count of using pseudophedrine to make meth.

By pleading guilty to that charge, two other felony charges were dropped.
