Meth Bust in Delta County
The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team has made another meth bust.
This time, it’s in Delta County.
UPSET says it took place in Ford River Township this afternoon.
They got a tip recently that a man there was receiving methamphetamine through the U.S. Mail.
Detectives teamed up with U.S. Postal Inspectors to investigate.
They arrested the man this afternoon as he was retrieving a package from his mailbox.
UPSET says the package had meth inside.
A search of the premises turned up more drugs and drug paraphernalia.
The Delta County Sheriff’s Department, the DEA and the ATF are among the other agencies that helped out at the scene.
