Menominee man to spend 12 months in jail on drug charge

A Menominee man will spend a year in jail after pleading guilty to a drug charge.

Jason Chapman, 39, was sentenced to 12 months in jail with credit for two days served in Menominee County Circuit Court Thursday.

He pled guilty to one charge of delivery/manufacture of cocaine, heroin, or other narcotics in May.  Chapman was arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team in February near the Hattie Street Bridge in Menominee.
