Menominee man receives two-year sentence for dealing heroin
A Menominee man will spend two years in prison for his involvement in dealing heroin.
In addition to jail time, Michael Peak, 40, will also have a year of supervised release. He pleaded guilty back in March to use of a communication device facility to distribute a controlled substance.
His co-defendant, Donald Myers, 41, was scheduled for trial Monday in U.S. District Court in Green Bay. However, he opted to plead guilty to knowing and intentionally using a communication device facility to distribute heroin. Myers will be sentenced on July 21st.
A third co-defendant, Eric Ebbole, 42, is scheduled for sentencing next week.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office have accused all three men and six other co-defendants of distributing and conspiring to distribute, fund, and sell heroin in Menominee and northeast Wisconsin.
