Menominee HS Bomb Threat Case Delayed

The case against a Menominee High School student accused of making a bomb threat against the school is on hold for the next month or so.

18–year–old Justine Klingaman of Menominee was scheduled to have her pre–trial conference on Monday.

However, it’s been postponed until November 5th.

This summer, Klingaman was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation regarding criminal responsibility.

Menominee County Prosecutor Dan Hass says he is still waiting for the results of that evaluation to come back.

Klingaman is charged with making a false report of a bomb threat.

The threat was found in a ladies’ restroom at the school on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.

Students were evacuated, and bomb–sniffing dogs were brought in from Escanaba Public Safety and the Brown County, Wisconsin Sheriff’s Department.

Klingaman has posted $500 bond.
