Memorial Day Service in Marquette
Memorial Day weekend is just around the corner: with that comes a number of ceremonies to honor the veterans for their service.
The American Legion Post 44 is holding a few Memorial Day services in Marquette. Tonight, at The Park Cemetery, graves were decorated with flags. This is an opportunity for community members to honor those who have fought for our country.
Thursday at 6 p.m. graves will be decorated with flags at The Holy Cross Cemetery. On Memorial Day special services will be held at both The Park and Holy Cross Cemeteries.
All veterans and members of the community are welcome to participate.
