Medical Supply Business Moving
After nearly a year of planning, A Marquette business is moving into the space that a former Marquette business left behind.
Last May, Wright & Filippis bought the former home of the Marquette bar and restaurant J.T.’s Shaft.
And now, the company is moving in.
The medical supply business is leaving its longtime home on Washington Street for West Ridge Street.
Office manager Cecilia Johnson says the new building is much larger than the old one and will be much more comfortable for both customers and employees.
Wright & Filippis is opening at the new location Monday morning, and employees will be in the store all weekend moving items in and cleaning everything up.
J.T.’s Shaft was in business in that building for more than 20 years before it closed in May of 2010.
