Medical Check Up For Troops

For troops coming home from war, there are many tasks that need to be done.

For the soldiers of the 1430th Engineering Corps, next on the agenda on the post–deployment checklist was medical care.

The troops of the 1430th spent part of their weekend at the Oscar G. Johnson medical center in Iron Mountain having general medical check ups, prescriptions filled and sitting in on health classes.

Although it is normal for troops who have recently returned from duty to come to the medical center, this time it was a little different.

Close to 60 troops from the national guard unit took part in the weekend medical care.
