MDOT Vehicle Inspection Project Begins in Bessemer
Construction of a commercial vehicle inspection site on US-2 in Bessemer starts Today, April 17.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will construct a commercial vehicle inspection site on US-2, from Tamarack Avenue to Spruce Avenue .
This work will require closing the outside eastbound lane with traffic shifts during daylight hours, as well as eastbound shoulder closures for the duration of the project.
The Gogebic County project is expected to be completed by June 22.
